Trade Treasury Payments (TTP), the new independent media and data intelligence platform for trade, treasury, and cross-border payments, today announced the launch of its Global Advisory Panel (GAP) — a network of over 40 leading experts spanning financial services, technology, law, policy, and development finance.

Revealed at a launch reception at the House of Lords, the panel brings together regional and subject-matter specialists to ensure TTP’s editorial and insight coverage reflects the fast-evolving dynamics of global liquidity and risk markets.

Working in tandem with TTP’s Editorial Board — which sets the platform’s strategic and editorial direction — the GAP provides real-time technical and regional input to enrich reporting and strengthen relevance.

Made up of voluntary contributors, the panel offers frontline perspectives on market trends, product developments, and emerging challenges. Its members help shape coverage priorities, support research and education initiatives, and promote independent content that connects industry silos.

By complementing the work of the Editorial Board, the GAP ensures TTP remains grounded in lived experience while guided by editorial independence and high standards.

Speaking at the launch, Deepesh Patel, Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief, said, “We’ve built TTP to be open, independent, and collaborative — but that only works if we’re grounded in what’s really happening in the field. The Global Advisory Panel allows us to listen more carefully, think more critically, and stay focused on the issues that matter most to practitioners around the world.”

Carter Hoffman, Trade & Technology Editor said, “Liquidity and risk are not theoretical challenges — they are the moving parts of every deal, every transaction, every business decision. What TTP is building is more than a media brand. It’s a platform for honest, nuanced industry dialogue.”

Eleanor Hill, Treasury Editor and Editorial Board member, said, “Too often, trade media follows the same patterns and the same voices. Through the GAP and our editorial team, we’re setting out to challenge that — to offer something deeper, smarter, and more globally informed.”

Joy Macknight, Transaction Banking & Payments Editor said, “The trade and treasury ecosystem is overdue for a media platform that values integrity, clarity, and critical thinking. With the GAP, TTP is building a dynamic feedback loop between the newsroom and the real world — and that’s what will set it apart.”

The GAP will meet virtually twice a year, contribute expert perspectives to TTP’s thought leadership agenda, and serve as judges for the inaugural TTP Global Awards in early 2026.
