RAKBANK partners with Cleareye.ai on trade finance workflow automation

RAKBANK, a UAE-based bank, has entered into a strategic partnership with Cleareye.ai, a US-based fintech. The collaboration aims to automate elements of the bank’s trade finance operations and support its core system modernisation efforts.

The partnership centres on ClearTrade®, Cleareye.ai’s flagship platform, which applies artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing to trade finance processes. The technology is designed to streamline document review, reduce manual intervention, and support compliance monitoring.

By integrating the platform into its trade finance operations, RAKBANK aims to accelerate transaction processing while strengthening controls related to trade-based money laundering (TBML). The automation capabilities are also intended to improve scalability as trade volumes increase.
