Trade Treasury Payments (TTP) has announced the winners and runners-up of its inaugural Corporate Excellence Awards, presented at a gala dinner at The Lansdowne Club in Mayfair, London, on Wednesday 7 October 2026.

The Corporate Excellence Awards were created to recognise the corporates behind excellence in trade, treasury and payments. These awards mostly recognise corporate treasury, trade and payment teams and their organisations, who make those solutions work for real-economy finance.

This year TTP received 188 submissions. Every entry was anonymised before judging and scored by members of TTP’s Global Advisory Panel, a network of more than 60 senior practitioners, against five published criteria: impact; innovation; relevance; collaboration; and sustainability.

The Editor’s Choice awards are the only awards selected by the TTP editorial team rather than by the Global Advisory Panel or TTP’s steering committee. They recognise contributions the editorial team has seen first-hand through its reporting over the past year.

The evening brought together 100 guests from more than ten countries, including around 30 banks, institutions and associations and over 30 corporates. Guests heard from members of TTP’s Editorial Board, Geoffrey Wynne and Dr Rebecca Harding, and from Professor Sarah Green of the Global Advisory Panel, who explained the judging process. Special guest Nicholas McCarthy, the first one-handed pianist to graduate from the Royal College of Music, performed and spoke about what excellence really means.

This year’s winning entries ranged from global treasury centralisation and multi-billion-dollar risk management programmes to the digitalisation of Kenyan tea exports, real-time payments delivered over a single weekend, and supply chain finance programmes reaching growers and small suppliers that the market usually leaves out.

Deepesh Patel, Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief at Trade Treasury Payments, said, “The corporate treasurer, the trade finance team and the payments operator are the people who make transaction banking work, and their role has never been under more pressure. These awards exist to recognise them, independently and impartially. Congratulations to every winner and runner-up.”

Joy Macknight, Transaction Banking and Payments Editor at Trade Treasury Payments, said, “Banks and fintechs win a great many awards. The corporates who make the deals work rarely do. The Corporate Excellence Awards put the corporate at the centre: the treasury, trade and payments teams who turn products into outcomes.”

TTP’s editorial team has written up every winning and runner-up entry. These stories will be published on tradetreasurypayments.com over the coming weeks.
