London / Paris, March 2026 — Trade Treasury Payments (TTP), the independent media and intelligence platform focused on trade, treasury and payments, has been confirmed as media partner of the ICC Global Banking Commission Meeting – Paris March 2026 Edition.

Held in partnership with the International Chamber of Commerce Banking Commission and ICC France, the conference will take place on 19 March 2026 at Tour Société Générale in Paris La Défense, the meeting convenes senior policymakers, banking leaders, insurers and corporates to address one of the defining themes of the decade: shaping the future of trade finance in a multipolar world.

The afternoon programme will focus on three structural pillars:

  • The role of the European Union in supporting the evolution of the global financial architecture
  • The challenges of digitalisation, AI and data in transactional banking
  • Building a prudential framework conducive to sustainable growth

The meeting will open with remarks from Matthias Fekl, Chair of ICC France, and Florian Witt, Chair of the ICC Global Banking Commission, outlining the 2026 roadmap and the principal challenges facing the trade finance industry.

A fireside chat featuring Anne-Christine Champion, Co-Head of Global Banking and Investor Solutions at Société Générale, and Georges Affaki, Chairman of the ICC France Banking Commission, will be followed by a global economic outlook delivered by ICC Chief Economist Melanie Laloum.

Deepesh Patel, Editor-in-Chief of Trade Treasury Payments, will moderate the roundtable: The challenges of digitalization, AI and data in transactional banking.

The session will bring together senior leaders from Bank of America, Crédit Agricole, Natixis CIB and Lloyds Banking Group to examine the operational implications of AI deployment in transaction banking, data integrity and interoperability challenges, and the balance between innovation, governance and regulatory expectations.

Set against a backdrop of geopolitical fragmentation, regulatory recalibration and accelerated digital transformation, the Paris meeting provides a timely forum for dialogue between public and private sector stakeholders.

Other panel sessions will examine how Europe can shape global financial architecture in an increasingly multipolar system, and others will address prudential regulation and sustainable growth.
