Exile Group takes on minority investment from Bridgepoint
Live Updates
Exile Group, the owner of specialist finance intelligence brands including TXF, has agreed a minority investment partnership with Bridgepoint, a leading mid-market investor.
Under the agreement, Bridgepoint will acquire a minority stake in Exile Group and work alongside the existing management team.
Founded in 2013 from a flat in Deptford, south-east London, Exile Group began with the launch of TXF before expanding to include Proximo and Uxolo. Since inception, the business has been entirely self-funded, with profits reinvested into data, news coverage, technology, and team growth.
The partnership is a shift from a fully bootstrapped model to one backed by external capital. Exile Group said it had been seeking a partner that understood both the business and the sectors it serves, and that could support continued investment without changing the company’s focus or culture.
Bridgepoint was selected following an extensive search, with Exile Group’s leadership feeling that they aligned on long-term ambition and a shared understanding of project, export, trade, and development finance markets.
In a message to clients, the company emphasised that its customers and long-standing industry relationships remain central to its strategy, and that the investment will be used to deepen its service offering.
Exile Group said the partnership would enable faster and more sustained investment in its platforms and intelligence products, while maintaining its commitment to supporting industries with tangible real-world impact.
The group said it sees the investment as a foundation for its next stage of growth.
