Satindar is senior partner in the firm’s London Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations practice. He is widely acknowledged as an expert in corporate crime, sanctions and fraud. He leads the firm’s sanctions practice and has developed the market standard in relation to Russian sanctions. Satindar regularly advises clients on governmental investigations including by the UK’s Serious Fraud Office, the National Crime Agency and the Office for Financial Sanctions Implementation. Most of these cases have a cross-border element and often involve the US Department of Justice. Headline cases include the BAE Systems corruption investigation and the phone hacking and police payments investigation into News Corporation.

As a litigator of some 25 years’ standing, Satindar has also advised on some of the biggest and most complex disputes in the London market during his career, including the collapse of BCCI, the Concorde crash, the administration of Lehman Brothers, and currently the diesel emissions litigation. This deep experience means that clients also turn to Satindar for “quarter-backing” advice in relation to overseas litigation and investigation as well as for assistance on UK matters.
