Alexia Boutin-Somnolet, Author at Trade Treasury Payments

Alexia leads Marsh’s Lenders Solutions Group (LSG) in Europe, which is dedicated to providing Financial Institutions with specialist knowledge on the structuring, syndication, and placement of credit related insurance solutions using market-leading products. Alexia supports the Marsh European network advising lenders on bespoke solutions in line with their risk and local regulatory requirements, allowing them to free up valuable regulatory capital, mitigate credit risk exposures and enhance their risk appetite.
Prior to joining Marsh in 2021, Alexia started her career in banking as a Derivatives Sales for 10 years before moving to Trade Syndication. She worked for several leading banks (Société Générale, HSBC & UniCredit) and in different countries (France, Australia, Hong-Kong & Italy)

Alexia holds a Master in Corporate and Investment Banking from Paris Dauphine University and a Specialised one from Bocconi University in Milan.

Alexia is chairing the ITFA working group on Insurtech since 2022.
