Achraf Abourida, Author at Trade Treasury Payments

Achraf is responsible for driving all aspects of solution development to ensure Surecomp’s value proposition is meeting customer needs and enabling seamless, sustainable trade for everyone. A recognised leader in the trade community with over 23 years of banking experience, Achraf has spent much of his career setting up working capital businesses for ING bank in the Netherlands across countries including France, Romania, Turkey, Poland, Belgium and Spain. Born in Utrecht to Moroccan parents, Achraf lived in Marrakech until the age of 12, when he returned to the Netherlands to complete his education and start his career. Prior to Surecomp, Achraf held the role of Global Head of Trade looking after ING’s documentary trade (LC, Guarantee) and working capital (Receivables and Supply Chain Finance) business. He is also a member of the BAFT European Council and a board member of ICC Netherlands.
