We’re delighted to be media partners at TXF Amsterdam 2026 — Global Natural Resources & Commodities Finance.
TXF Managing Director Hesham Zakai and Trafigura Chief Economist Saad Rahim opened up the debate this morning, with Rahim delivering a warning: the oil market is too complacent, physical markets are already signalling stress, and with ~14 million barrels a day cut off from the Strait of Hormuz, this is by far the largest energy disruption in history. Financial markets, he argued, are yet to catch up.
