Follow the orange brick road: Introducing Trade Treasury Payments (TTP)

Deepesh Patel Deepesh Patel Apr 14, 2025

Trade Treasury Payments (TTP), a new independent media and data intelligence platform, has officially launched with a mission to serve the global trade, treasury, and payments community through unbiased, accessible, and high-quality information.

Established amid intensifying geopolitical fragmentation and financial infrastructure transformation, TTP offers a neutral space for professionals to access trusted educational resources and engage in cross-border dialogue.

TTP is a truly independent, impartial, media, research, and publishing platform catering to the trade, treasury, and payments industry.

The platform’s editorial focus spans the full spectrum of technical and strategic issues within transaction banking. These include but are not limited to: the distribution and secondary market activity surrounding trade finance assets; the ongoing evolution of credit and political risk landscapes; regulatory developments such as ISO 20022 and digital trade documentation frameworks; payment infrastructure innovations including central bank digital currencies and real-time cross-border systems; as well as advanced treasury practices covering liquidity forecasting, debt management, hedging, and treasury management systems.

TTP’s editorial team comprises Carter Hoffman, trade and technology editor, Joy Macknight, payments and transaction banking editor, and Eleanor Hill, treasury editor, led by Deepesh Patel, editor-in-chief.

In addition to TTP’s in-house editorial team, the company is joined by a distinguished editorial board of industry leaders to help steer the direction of content and ensure that TTP best serves the needs of the industry.

Joining the Editorial board are Tod Burwell, CEO and President of the Bankers Association for Finance and trade (BAFT); Rebecca Harding, CEO of the Centre for Economic Security; Eleanor Hill, Treasury Editor at TTP; Alan Koenigsberg, CEO of Koenigsberg Insights; Pamela Mar, Managing Director of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Digital Standards Initiative (DSI); Eleonore True, Director Trade Finance Week at ICC Austria; Richard Wulff Executive Director of the International Credit Insurance & Surety Association (ICISA), and Geoffery Wynne, Partner at Sullivan.

TTP is excited to celebrate its launch with a celebration on 30 April at the House of Lords through the support of The Rt Hon. The Viscount Waverley and Lord Davies of Gower Byron. The launch includes roundtable discussions under the theme “Futureproofing Trade, Treasury, and Payments”.

TTP’s first-year programming includes an international roadshow, developed in collaboration with partners such as BAFT, ITFA, ICC, and Payments Canada. Events will take place across financial centres including Washington D.C., Toronto, Singapore, Amsterdam, and Rio de Janeiro, culminating in the inaugural TTP Global Awards in Lisbon.
