Triple-A, a licensed global payment institution, has announced the European rollout of its stablecoin-enabled Multicurrency Accounts, designed to provide global businesses with seamless access to local banking collection rails without the need to establish a local entity.

This innovative solution targets businesses with European customers and cross-border money movement requirements, offering a named EUR International Bank Account Number (IBAN) and enabling end-users to settle funds directly to their bank accounts, convert to stablecoins, or receive local currency payouts in over 70 countries.

Eric Barbier, Founder and CEO of Triple-A, said, “The European launch of Multicurrency Accounts supports Triple-A’s forward vision toward a more complete account and payments infrastructure model, where local currency collection connects directly to global payout rails, stablecoins, and traditional local currencies.”

“Eliminating longtime bottlenecks to doing business in Europe, we are empowering businesses with the practical cross-border money movement infrastructure they’ve been yearning for.”

Addressing longstanding challenges in EUR collections and cross-border payments

Businesses collecting euros have historically faced significant challenges due to the costs and complexities associated with incorporating EU entities or managing multiple providers for collection, currency conversion, and payouts.

Triple-A’s Multicurrency Accounts solution simplifies borderless EUR collection through SEPA and offers global payout capabilities in one unified system.

Also, European B2B payments are predominantly conducted via bank transfers, making access to SEPA rails essential. Triple-A’s Multicurrency Accounts enable businesses to collect EUR through SEPA and SEPA Instant payments without the need to open an EU entity or maintain a local bank account.

This capability removes significant barriers to entry for international businesses seeking to operate in the European market.

Unlike traditional models that treat the IBAN as a standalone account, Triple-A links EUR collection directly to stablecoin and local currency payouts across more than 70 countries. This integration facilitates faster settlement, supports third-party payouts via local transfers, reduces and stabilises transaction costs, and enhances reconciliation processes.

Designed for real business payment flows

The solution supports a variety of business use cases involving EUR collections and global payouts.

This includes B2B companies selling into Europe, exporters collecting payments from EU buyers, and platforms that collect funds in Europe and pay out to users, sellers, freelancers, or suppliers worldwide.

Additionally, Payment Service Providers (PSPs), digital wallets, and Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs) can integrate EUR collections and payouts into their platforms using Triple-A’s infrastructure.

Triple-A’s Multicurrency Accounts solution is engineered to collect, hold, and move funds through a single system that offers seamless connectivity and interchange between local currencies and stablecoins.

By combining the EUR collection with extensive payout coverage in both stablecoins and local currencies, the solution enables truly seamless global fund movement.
