Sage Capital Management has introduced a comprehensive operating system designed to serve digital asset treasuries and corporate treasuries. The platform consolidates all necessary infrastructure into a single environment, enabling seamless global movement, trading, and management of digital assets.

This development addresses the operational fragmentation and friction that have historically challenged institutional digital asset management.

“Treasury teams today are being asked to manage new payment rails and digital assets using their old infrastructure – and this is slow, clunky and adds unnecessary risk.  Sage Capital Management’s new operating system allows corporate treasuries to use a single system to safely, efficiently and compliantly interact with digital assets and modern payment rails,” quoted Nathan Sage, CEO, Sage Capital Management.

The operating system includes a private banking service that facilitates seamless management between fiat currencies and digital asset markets. It integrates market access, capital management, and a unified trading platform encompassing liquidity, execution, margin, risk, and transaction cost analysis (TCA).

This unified approach connects banking, market access, capital, and technology through one regulated counterparty, streamlining institutional workflows.

“Our new, unrivalled offering consists of a single environment, with unified onboarding, that connects every part of the financial workflow for institutional digital asset clients. It reduces operational risk, speeds up the movement of funds, minimises counterparty exposure, and enhances capital efficiency.  It is truly game changing, setting new standards in how institutions can access, manage and deploy capital across digital asset markets,” added Sage.

Banking services and embedded operational support

Sage Capital Management’s banking service offers clients named, multi-currency accounts under their legal entity, with access to UK Faster Payments, SEPA, SWIFT, and over 140 global currencies.

Functioning similarly to traditional bank accounts but directly linked to digital asset markets, clients can move quickly between fiat and digital assets, manage payments, and conduct foreign exchange operations.

Physical and virtual corporate Mastercard debit cards are also available. A key feature is the Embedded COO™, a senior operator assigned to each client to provide operational partnership beyond standard account services.

Market access and capital engine

The platform provides unified access to global spot, derivatives, and over-the-counter liquidity through a single regulated counterparty. This eliminates the need for clients to onboard or manage multiple venues or liquidity providers, offering real-time settlement, unified risk management, and non-internalised execution with deep liquidity across more than 40 global venues.

The capital engine centralises access to portfolio margin, institutional credit, and structured financing. Collateral deployed once can be utilised across the network, supported by a multi-provider capital architecture that dynamically routes credit to maximise collateral efficiency.

The launch of the Sage Platform

The Sage Platform, a proprietary technology platform, was also launched by the company, which offers a unified trading interface supporting multi-venue and multi-product trading.

It features an aggregated order book, advanced algorithms, and customisable institutional workspaces, enabling comprehensive management of liquidity, execution, margin, risk, and TCA.

Nathan Sage said, “To date, institutions have been forced to piece together banking from one provider, markets from another, credit from somewhere else, with technology layered on top. Sage Capital Management’s new operating system addresses this cumbersome and inefficient approach by having one integrated financial network, powered by a unified technology platform and engineered for institutional scale. We are providing the ability to operate end-to-end – across banking, liquidity, capital, and technology – without friction, and are ultimately making institutional participation in digital assets more accessible than ever.”

Sage Capital Management operates under a multi-jurisdictional regulatory framework, including the UK, EU, and other recognised financial authorities. They provide banking, payments, custody, and credit services through regulated entities and partners, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and operational oversight.
