MegazoneCloud, a leading AI-native digital transformation company, has announced a strategic partnership with Hana Bank to jointly develop innovative digital financial services. This partnership integrates advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and data science to create new financial solutions.
The partnership was formalised through a Strategic Business Cooperation Agreement signed by Max Lee, Chairman of MegazoneCloud, and Hosung Lee, CEO of Hana Bank, at Hana Bank’s headquarters in Seoul. The agreement focuses on cooperation in the AI cloud market and expanding financial services support.
“Together with Hana Bank, we will combine MegazoneCloud’s strengths in multi-cloud and hybrid cloud operations and our AI-focused platforms with Hana Bank’s financial data to develop AI-driven financial solutions. We also aim to accelerate the deployment of AI data centres tailored to the financial sector,” quoted Chris Hwang, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of MegazoneCloud.
The key areas of the partnership
The two companies will work together to provide import and export trade finance to support MegazoneCloud’s planned large-scale imports of GPU and NPU servers. These servers are critical for building AI data centres aligned with the Korean government’s Global Top 3 AI initiative.
Additionally, MegazoneCloud and Hana Bank aim to identify and develop converged business models that leverage both companies’ strengths in finance, cloud, and AI technologies. Hana Bank is also considering direct and indirect equity investments as part of this partnership.
