The 10th edition of the Central Bank Payments Conference will unite senior leaders from central banks, regulators, financial market infrastructures, and the private sector for candid discussions and strategic debate on the most pressing issues in the contemporary payments landscape.

More than 200+ delegates from over 40 central banks, 80 organizations, and 50 countries are expected to attend.

With a theme of “Payments Without Borders: Navigating Fragmentation, Innovation, Regulation, and Resilience in a New Global Era,” the 2026 event will explore issues around cross-border payments, asset tokenisation and settlement, payments sovereignty, CBDCs and stablecoins, financial fraud, digital public infrastructure, and much more.

New initiatives are being introduced to the 2026 program:

  • The Payments Edgeis designed to cultivate essential professional skills, leadership capabilities, and strategic acumen in a select cohort of rising stars and ambitious professionals in the payment sector.
  • A new research partnership will provide a platform to showcase original payments research, bringing cutting-edge academic insights directly into the conference dialogue.
