Trade digitisation’s bumpy road to interoperability

Issue 12 . Jun 2025
International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Digital Standards Initiative (DSI) and Trade Treasury Payments (TTP) hosted a closed-door roundtable of industry leaders (including representatives of banks, fintech firms, large corporates, and government agencies) to discuss, under Chatham House rules, the state of trade digitalisation and prospects for interoperability in the foreseeable future. This resulted in the creation of this magazine in collaboration with the ICC-DSI. Special thanks to Pamela Mar, Managing Director at ICC-DSI and Oswald Kuyler, Head of Digital Standards Initaitive at Asian Development Bank (ADB) who helped produced and organised this magazine.
