SIFMA

SIFMA is a nonprofit trade association serving as the voice of the U.S. securities industry. It brings together broker-dealers, investment banks, and asset managers to advocate on legislation, regulation, and business policy. The organization acts as an industry coordinating body to promote efficient market operations, resilience, and fair, transparent capital markets.

In addition to its advocacy work, SIFMA provides a forum for professional development and policy discussion. Through its Operations & Technology committees, the association offers leadership on market operations, technology transformation, cybersecurity, and business continuity. It also hosts the C&L Society, a forum for legal and compliance professionals, and operates the SIFMA Foundation, which focuses on financial education. SIFMA serves members operating within U.S. and global capital markets.
