FinDev Canada is Canada’s bilateral development finance institution, established to support sustainable and inclusive economic growth by mobilising private sector investment in developing and emerging markets. It provides financing, investment, blended finance and technical assistance, with a focus on three areas: the financial industry, sustainable infrastructure, and agribusiness, forestry and their related value chains. Its development priorities include climate and nature action, gender equality and market development.

Working across Latin America and the Caribbean, Sub Saharan Africa and the Indo Pacific, FinDev Canada partners with businesses, financial institutions and investment funds to help expand access to finance and support projects with meaningful economic and social impact. Its offering includes loans, blended finance loans and equity investments, alongside technical assistance designed to strengthen clients and markets.
