Defence, Security and Resilience Bank (DSRB) Development Group
The Defence, Security and Resilience Bank (DSR Bank) is a proposed multilateral institution designed to mobilise long-term capital for defence, security and resilience across allied and partner nations.
Backed by sovereign members and built for scale, the DSR Bank addresses three structural financing challenges facing the defence ecosystem:
Affordable sovereign financing
Providing long-term, low-cost capital to governments without exacerbating fiscal pressure or crowding out social spending.
Efficient procurement and capability delivery
Supporting faster, more predictable financing for defence acquisition programmes and strategic industrial capacity.
Mobilising private capital
Offering institutional guarantees that enable commercial banks and investors to support defence, security and resilience firms across the supply chain.
By bridging public and private finance, the DSR Bank aims to strengthen deterrence, resilience and industrial readiness, giving allied democracies the financial architecture needed to respond to today’s security environment and future threats.
