Alliance for Innovative Regulation (AIR) is a non-profit, non-membership organisation advancing a fairer, more innovative and resilient financial system through the responsible use of new technology. By connecting regulation, finance, technology and society, AIR enables global collaboration to address legacy challenges and prepare the system for rapid technological change.

Founded in 2019 by Jo Ann Barefoot and David Ehrich, AIR supports governments and industry in developing and scaling responsible innovation to tackle issues including financial exclusion, discrimination, market misconduct, climate risk, economic instability and financial crime.
