Atlar becomes the first AI-native treasury platform to integrate J.P. Morgan Payments’ new API, enabling instant bank connectivity
Live Updates
Atlar, an AI-native treasury platform, has become the first to utilise J.P. Morgan Payments’ new API for treasury services and payments, allowing joint customers to connect their J.P. Morgan bank accounts to Atlar within seconds. Lovable, an AI app-building platform recognised as the fastest-growing software company in history, is the first joint customer to benefit from this collaboration.
Joel Nordstrom, Co-founder and CEO at Atlar, said, “Useful AI in finance starts with connectivity. This collaboration with J.P. Morgan Payments gives our customers real-time data from one of the most important finance institutions in the word, and Lovable is exactly the kind of company we built Atlar for.”
Artificial intelligence is reshaping expectations for finance teams and their tools, while simultaneously revealing the critical importance of reliable, real-time financial data. For AI agents to function effectively in finance, seamless connectivity to banking data is essential.
Traditionally, finance platforms have connected to banks via file transfers and batch-based channels, processes that require weeks or months of implementation and significant resources.
For AI-driven platforms like Atlar, which rely on real-time data to operate efficiently, these delays create bottlenecks. The limiting factor in AI adoption is no longer model capability but access to timely data and contextual information.
Instant connectivity with J.P. Morgan Payments’ new API
J.P. Morgan Payments’ new API offers treasury management platforms and their AI agents near real-time access to financial data held in J.P. Morgan bank accounts. The API integration between J.P. Morgan Payments and Atlar is fully built and maintained, enabling joint customers to authenticate and connect their bank accounts to Atlar’s treasury platform in seconds without requiring any IT development on their part.
Once connected, real-time balances, transactions, and payment data flow directly into Atlar, fully integrating with the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and broader finance stack. From the moment of activation, Atlar’s AI agents begin reviewing payments, reconciling transactions, and generating cash flow forecasts.
Lisa Davis, Head of Digital & Design Commercialisation at J.P. Morgan Payments, said, “With this new API, we’ve lowered the implementation burden for organisations like Atlar and Lovable.”
“The ability to authenticate and go live in seconds, with real-time data and payments that are delivered efficiently, is another example of our commitment to provide companies with the tools they need to manage their treasury operations securely today and to keep pace with what’s next,” he added.
Lovable scaling AI-native finance with Atlar
As the first joint customer leveraging the Atlar and J.P. Morgan Payments API integration, Lovable connected its J.P. Morgan bank accounts to Atlar and fully integrated with its ERP system.
Matias Salonen, Finance and BizOps at Lovable, said, “When you’re growing at our pace, you need partners that can move with you. Lovable helps remove barriers for builders; Atlar and J.P. Morgan Payments are doing the same for our finance team, which is rare to find.”
This setup enables Atlar’s AI agents to manage cash positioning, payments, reconciliation, and forecasting from day one.
