Nacha

Nacha is a nonprofit trade association that convenes diverse organisations to enhance and enable electronic payments and financial data exchange. It governs the ACH Network, which is a payment system designed to facilitate safe, smart, and fast Direct Deposits and Direct Payments, with the capability to reach all U.S. bank and credit union accounts.

In its role as a governing body for the payments industry, Nacha develops rules, standards, and governance frameworks while providing industry solutions, education, accreditation, and advisory services. Its activities support innovation and interoperability within the payment system, benefiting a wide range of industry stakeholders and the users of these financial services across the United States.
