Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau (FSTB)

The Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau (FSTB) is a government agency in Hong Kong responsible for managing fiscal policy and overseeing the financial services sector. It works with market regulators and participants to strengthen Hong Kong’s position as a global financial centre, an asset and wealth management hub, and an offshore RMB business centre.

The bureau is also actively involved in promoting developments in green finance and financial technology. On the treasury side, it manages public resources to support economic and social development.
