The Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) is a public government agency in Egypt responsible for supervising and regulating non-banking financial markets and instruments. Its mandate includes the oversight of capital markets, stock exchanges, insurance services, mortgage finance, financial leasing, factoring, and securitization. The authority aims to ensure market stability, competitiveness, and the mitigation of systemic risks to attract local and foreign investment.

FRA replaced several former bodies, including the Capital Market Authority, the Mortgage Finance Authority, and the Egyptian Insurance Supervisory Authority. It operates as an administrative authority for companies established under financial leasing laws and promotes the development of the non-banking financial sector.
