Ripple, a provider of blockchain solutions across traditional and digital finance, has announced new capabilities for Ripple Treasury designed to enable global businesses to manage cash, liquidity, and payments around the clock.
Major corporations including American Airlines, Trax, Christian Louboutin, Subway, Adecco, and Kingfisher are among the businesses leveraging these enhanced capabilities.
Renaat Ver Eecke, Senior Vice President of Ripple Treasury, said, “The way businesses move money is changing, and treasury needs to evolve with it. As AI accelerates decision-making and digital rails enable money to move around the clock, businesses need systems that can keep pace.”
“Our vision is to bring treasury management, intelligence, and execution together, giving finance teams the ability to act faster and operate continuously without adding complexity or sacrificing control.”
Advancing toward always-on corporate treasury
Announced at Swell 2026, this development is a major advancement in constant corporate treasury operations. It combines traditional treasury management features with AI orchestration and digital infrastructure to address the changing needs of today’s finance teams.
At the centre of the enhanced Ripple Treasury experience is an orchestration layer that works with GSmart, Ripple Treasury’s treasury-native AI capabilities.
This system coordinates and automates workflows across cash positioning, forecasting, reconciliation, liquidity management, and payments. By connecting decisions with execution, Ripple Treasury helps finance teams reduce manual processes, respond faster to changing financial needs, and move toward truly always-on treasury operations.
Meeting growing demand for cash optimisation
According to the 2026 AFP Liquidity Survey, 46% of organisations increased their US cash balances over the past year, while 86% of treasury professionals indicated their organisations would choose real-time money market funds if they met investment policies.
This data reveals an emerging opportunity for businesses to manage cash more productively without compromising liquidity requirements.
Kevin Permenter, Research Director at IDC, commented, “Treasury is moving from visibility to action, and the emerging challenge is orchestration: connecting trusted data, intelligence and the ability to move money so that better decisions turn into timely execution. Platforms that bring those layers together, rather than assembling them across providers, are addressing the constraint that matters most.”
Introducing 24/7 returns
Ripple Treasury has introduced 24/7 Returns, a new capability designed to help eligible corporate customers generate returns on operating cash that would otherwise remain idle overnight, over weekends, and during holidays.
Ripple Treasury customers can earn returns on qualifying digital assets in their Ripple wallets, including RLUSD, Ripple’s US dollar-backed stablecoin, by meeting program requirements.
This allows businesses to use eligible cash outside of traditional banking hours without needing to manage digital asset transactions independently.
Blake Tablak, CEO of Trax, said, “When one of the core tenets of your business is payment accuracy and security, you have to have an incredible partner and ecosystem. Our partnership with Ripple Treasury is just getting started and already returning value.”
Connecting corporate finance with modern infrastructure
Ripple’s launch enhances its strategy to link corporate finance with modern financial systems.
By combining treasury management, payments, liquidity, stablecoins, and custody, Ripple seeks to provide businesses with a streamlined solution for managing and transferring money across both fiat and digital platforms.
Instead of requiring businesses to assemble and manage multiple disconnected providers, Ripple offers a single partner for increasingly complex treasury operations, reducing operational friction and simplifying digital asset adoption.
